Dennis Joseph Greenwood

Mr. Greenwood served during the Cold War. Dennis joined the United States Air Force in 1959.
Retiring from the Air Force in 1967, he joined the Air National Guard 148th Fighter Wing in Duluth, Minnesota. At this time he worked as an aircraft mechanic on several various aircraft until 1988 when he retired as a Master Sergeant.
During his career in the service, Dennis received many awards and medals including the:
- Air Force Outstanding Unit Award,
- National Defense Service Medal,
- Air Force Longevity Services,
- Small Arms expert Marksmanship Ribbon, and
- the Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal.
He was born March 11, 1940, in Perham, Minnesota. Mr. Greenwood died at the age of 67 on August 8, 2007.
