William A. Williams

William A. Williams entered the Army on September 30, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Aurora, Minnesota.

Mr. Williams served as a Private First Class and truck driver with Company C of the 692nd Tank Destroyer Battalion in Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe.

He received the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and one overseas service bar.

Mr. Williams was honorably discharged on November 10, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
