William J. Lenzen, Jr.

William J. Lenzen, Jr. was inducted into the Army on February 29, 1944.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and rifleman with the 355th Infantry Regiment of the 89th Infantry Division in Rhineland. He was wounded in action on March 14, 1945, in the European Theater of Operation.

Mr. Lenzen was awarded the: Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on May 10, 1946, at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
