William J. Hoene

William J. Hoene entered the Army on June 2, 1943, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.

He served as a Corporal, truck driver, and infantryman with Company H, 354th Infantry Regiment, 89th Division in Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Hoene was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge and two overseas service bars.

Mr. Hoene was honorably discharged on April 26, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
