William J. Blackmore

Mr. Blackmore inducted into the Army on September 11, 1944, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.

He served as a Staff Sergeant with Headquarters Company of the Third Infantry Division in Central Europe and Rhineland.

He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, Army of Occupation Medal (Germany) and two overseas service bars.

Mr. Blackmore was honorably discharged on May 31, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
