Mr. Luoma received the: European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with silver battle star (denotes five campaigns) and two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.
He received a disability discharged on May 1, 1945 at the VA facility in Minneapolis, Minn.
