William Godfrey Dols

William Godfrey Dols served in World War II in the Pacific Theater with the U.S. Army beginning in May 1944 when he went to basic training. 

He was assigned to the Headquarters and Service Group of General MacArthur's General Headquarters, Tokyo, Japan, as part of the Army of Occupation, Japan. He was discharged in February 1947.

His rank was Sergeant (T-4).

Mr. Dols was awarded the World War II Victory Medal.

He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1927, and is the son of William and Cecilia Dols. He graduated from DeLaSalle High School in 1944.
