William F. Johnson served during both World War II and the Korean War in the U.S. Navy. He was a Lieutenant Commander at the time of his discharge.

He was born in 1922 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of John and Helfrid Johnson.

William F. Johnson, D.D.S., died at age 86 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, on October 6, 2008.
