William Edward Vidor, was born September 18th 1915 in Rauch, Minnesota to Peter & Mary Vidor.
Mr. Vidor entered the Army on April 16th 1941 at Detroit, Michigan. He was trained at Camp Livingston, Louisiana.
He served as a PFC with a Medical Detachment of the 126th Infantry of the Army Air Corps.
PFC Vidor was killed while serving in action while stationed at the front in Papua New Guinea at the age of 28 years old. The casualty may have been as a result of a hand grenade.
He was repatriated and buried at Saint Bridgets Cemetery in Geaney, Minnesota
