William B. Cogger

William B. Cogger was inducted into the Army on July 20, 1945.
Serving at the rank of technician 5th grade, he was a truck driver with the 21st Quartermaster Car Company. He participated in the Rome-Arno, Italy and other operations in the Mediterranean Theater and Southwest Pacific Theater.
He was wounded in action Sept. 1, 1944.
His decorations and awards include the:
Purple Heart Medal,
Combat Infantryman Badge,
Good Conduct Medal,
Asiatic-PacificCampaign Service Medal,
European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal, and three overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on Jan. 25, 1946.
