RUMPH, Willard Floyd
Willard Floyd Rumph was born on March 28th 1920 to Henry & Rumph in Munising, Michigan.
Mr. Rumph enlisted in the Naval Reserve on June 3rd 1940 and entered active duty on November 4th 1940; Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.
He was a Machinist's Mate 1st Class (MM1/c) aboard the USS Paducah in Duluth and on the USS Dyonysus (AR 21) in the Pacific Theater during WWII.
MM1/c Rumph was honorably discharged on November 2nd 1945.
Mr. Rumph died on May 14th 2002 at the age of 82 years. He is buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendale, California.
