Wilho A. Heikkinen of Soudan, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army Air Corps on April 16, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Sergeant and clerk typist in Squadron A of the 4268th Army Air Forces Base Unit in the Pacific Theater.

Mr.  Heikkinen was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged January 17, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
