Wilfred J. Howard served during World War II in the U.S. Army from 1942 until 1946 in the Pacific Theater and during the occupation of post-war Japan.

He was first stationed at Ft Snelling, MN  and then to Ft Lewis, Wash. He was then sent to Hawaii and finally to Japan for the occupation.

His rank was Sergeant.

Mr. Howard was born on October 19, 1916 in Marble, Minnesota. He passed away, September 22, 2007 in Duluth, Minnesota.
