Wesley A. Lindgren was inducted into the Army on May 5, 1943.
He was a Private First Class and an automatic rifleman with Company K in the 267th Infantry Regiment, 70th Infantry Division in Rhineland and Central Europe. He was wounded in action on March 27, 1945 in the European Theater of Operations.
Mr. Lindgren received the: Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and two overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on March 26, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
