Weino Frantsi of Iron enlisted in the Army on Feb.12, 1941 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Technical Sergeant and a military policeman with the 9171 TSU of the Quartermaster Detachment, in Japan and the continental United States.

Mr. Frantsi was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. 

He died in the service on Sept. 22, 1951.
