Wayne Wallace Ross

Wayne Wallace Ross entered the Navy on August 20, 1943, at Proctor, Minnesota. Home at entry: Proctor, Minnesota.

He served as a Signalman 2nd Class aboard USS LCI (G)-450 in Marshall Islands and Marianas Islands, Pacific Theater. Anchored near the USS Missouri at the Japanese surrender on September 2, 1945, in Tokyo Bay, Japan.

He was awarded the following: Presidential Unit Citation and Navy Unit Citation.

Mr. Ross was honorably discharged on March 31, 1946, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
