Wayne A. Leach

Wayne A. Leach entered the Army on May 29, 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 4th Grade and tank mechanic with Company C, 644th Tank Destroyer Battalion, Third Army in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Leach was awarded the: Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Service Ribbon, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and four overseas service bars.
