TIMONEN, Wayne August
Wayne August Timonen was born on August 3rd 1921 in Aurora, Minnesota. to Wayne and Aili Timonen.

Mr. Timonen served as a Private First Class and truck driver with Headquarters Detachment of the 36th Coast Artillery Battalion in the Canal Zone and continental U.S.
He was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and five overseas service bars.
Mr. Timonen was honorably discharged on November 13th 1945, at Camp McCoy, Minnesota. He died on November 8th 1989 at age 68. He is buried in Rauha Cemetery near Aurora.
