“OFFICER INTERNED-Second Lt. Walter M. Amundson, 26, has been interned in a German prison camp, according to a war department notification received yesterday by his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Morton Amundson, 428 North Twenty-third avenue west. Lieutenant Amundson was previously reported missing in action after his plane was lost over France. According to information received by his mother from other fliers who saw the action, Lieutenant Amundson and the rest of the crew bailed out after their plane was crippled.
