Wallace Larson of Eveleth, Minnesota was inducted into the Army Air Corps on March 10, 1942.

He was a Sergeant with the 487th Bombardment Squadron (Medium), 340th Bombardment Group (M): Rome-Arno, North Apennines, Po Valley, Italy; Air Combat Balkans.

Mr. Larson received the: Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with four bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on September 29, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
