Tech Vilja was part of the 979 Sig. MTR MSGR Company during WWII and was honorably discharged on October 17th 1945. After the war, he married Sylvia Brower on December 1st 1945.
Mr. Vilja died on September 8th 1965 and is buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Virginia, Minnesota
