Waino S. Johnson

Waino S. Johnson of Virginia, Minnesota enlisted in the Army on May 15, 1941 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He was a Technician 5th Grade and supply clerk with Company L of the 164th Infantry Regiment in the Guadalcanal Campaign.

Mr. Johnson received the: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on May 25, 1945 at Camp Claibourne, La.
