Virgil Walter Anderson
Mr. Anderson served in World War II in the South Pacific. He served in the U.S. Navy beginning in January 1946. Mr. Anderson was assigned to a Navy tanker.
He was discharged in September 1948. His highest rank in the Navy was Fireman Third Class. Mr. Anderson was born in Park Rapids, Minnesota, in 1928, the son of Guy and Mabel Anderson.
