Vernon W. Carlson

Vernon W. Carlson was inducted into the Army November 13, 1941, Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Fifth Grade and construction worker with Company C of the 813th Engineer Regiment in the Aleutian Islands.

American Defense Service Medal
Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star
World War II Victory Medal
Six overseas service bars.

Honorably discharged November 13, 1945, Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
