Vern C. Gallagher

Vern C. Gallagher of Frazer, Minnesota, enlisted in the Army on July 11, 1942.

He served as a Technician 4th Grade and heavy equipment operator with Company C of the 46th Engineer Battalion in the Southern Philippines and Luzon.

Mr. Gallagher was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged Nov. 16, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis       .
