Urho T. Hill

Urho T. Hill was inducted into the Army July 20, 1944, Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Meadowlands, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class with the 18th Infantry Regiment in Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Hill was warded the Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal (Germany) and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged June 30, 1946, Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
