Tony V. Lavato entered the Army Air Corps on November 23, 1940.

Mr. Lavato received the: Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, American Defense Service Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal with one bronze star and World War II Victory Medal.
He was discharged as Captain in December, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
