Tony V. Lavato

Tony V. Lavato entered the Army Air Corps on November 23, 1940.

He was a commissioned 2nd Lieutenant and an administrative officer with the 529th Squadron, 380th Bomb Group in the Bismarck Archipelago, New Guinea, South Philippines (Liberation), Luzon, and China.

Mr. Lavato received the: Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, American Defense Service Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal with one bronze star and World War II Victory Medal.

He was discharged as Captain in December, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
