Toivo A. Luoma

Toivo A. Luoma of Eveleth, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on April 25, 1942.

He was a Private First Class and a cannoneer with Battery D in the 379th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion working with automatic weapons in Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Luoma received the: European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and one overseas service bar.

He was honorably discharged in October, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
