Thorvald Johan Lillevik

Thorvald Johan Lillevik served in World War II in the Pacific Theater in the U.S. Army in the 164th Infantry.

They were in Guadalcanal, the northern Solomon Islands, and the southern Philippines.

Mr. Lillevik died at age 90 on September 5, 2008, in Anchorage, Alaska.

He was born at home near Minnewakan, North Dakota, the son of Norwegian immigrants Ingvald and Anna Lillevik. He graduated from Alexandria (MN) High School in 1936.
