Thomas E. Hamilton served in World War II in the Pacific Theater.
He was inducted into the U.S. Army in May 1943 and was assigned to the 128th Infantry Regiment, 32nd Division or “Red Arrow Division.” He was discharged in November 1946.
His rank was Sergeant.
Mr. Hamilton was decorated with the Purple Heart and the Distinguished Rifleman’s Badge. He was shot through the right arm in December 1944.
Mr. Hamilton was born in Bigfall, Minnesota, in 1924. He is the son of Everette and Florence (Godard) Hamilton.
