Theodore E. Lainen

Theodore E. Lainen of Zim was inducted into the Army on July 27, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn. 

He was a Private First Class and a toxic gas handler with the 868th CML Company AO (L) in Rhineland.

Mr. Lainen received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on October 23, 1945 at Camp Grant, Ill.
