“We serviced fuel ships in the Mediterranean war zone like Rome, Italy, Haifa, Palestine, Tripoli, Libya. We got our gas from Basra, Iraq. We also serviced ships in the Pacific war zone, Australia, New Guinea, and fueling stations in the South Sea islands."
