Sylvia L. Hill (nee Kaija)

Sylvia L. Hill, of Ely, MN, entered the Army Nurse Corps on July 21, 1942.

She was commissioned a 1st Lieutenant iand served n the European Theater in Sicily, Rome-Arno, Naples-Foggia and Southern France.

Mrs. Hill was awarded the European-African-Middle East Campaign  Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

She was honorably discharged April 27, 1946 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
