Sulo V. Lundgren of Mountain Iron, Minn. was inducted into the Army on June 10, 1943.
He was a Sergeant and an infantry squad leader with Company L in the 413th Infantry Regiment, 104th Infantry Division in Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe.
Me Lundgren received the: Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with four bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged on January 15, 1946 at Fort Lewis, Wash.
