Sulo K. Itkonen

Sulo K. Itkonen was inducted into the Army April 24, 1942, Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class with Headquarters Company of the 1932nd Service Command Unit in the China-Burma-India theater.

Mr. Itkonen was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars and World War II Victory Medal. 

He was honorably discharged September 24, 1945, Fort Winfield Scott, California.
