Steve Vuicich was born on March 14th 1915 to Dan & Angeline [Prica] Vuicich in Biwabik, Minnesota.
Mr. Vuicich enlisted in the Army on May 9th 1941, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.
He served as a pioneer during WWII. On leave from service he married Marie Mayme [Javornia] on June 22nd 1942. He rose to the rank of Technical Sergeant (TSGT).
SGT Vuicich was honorably discharged on November 1th 1944, at Camp Shelby, Mississippi. After the war he returned home to his wife Marie.
He died on November 7th 1991 in Hibbing, Minnesota. He is buried at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
