Steve Dowzicky of Chisholm, Minn. was inducted into the Army on April 24, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and tractor driver with Company B of the 330th Engineer Regt. (General Service).He served in the China-Burma-India Theater and the continental U.S.

Mr. Dowzicky was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal and five overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on Sept. 6, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
