Steve Altobell

Steve Altobell entered the Army August 14, 1943, fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Eveleth, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class with Company C of the 252nd Infantry Regiment in Rome-Arno, North Apennines, and Po Valley, Italy.

Awarded: Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign with three bronze battle stars, and two overseas service bars.

Honorably discharged November 13, 1945, Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
