Stanley John Maleska of Duluth, Minnesota entered the Army on Sept. 5, 1944.
He was a Technician 5th Grade and bazooka man (anti-tank weapon) with Company A, 291st Infantry Regiment, 75th Infantry Division in the Rhineland and Central Europe.
He was awarded the: Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars and World War II Victory Medal.
He was discharged on Jan. 25, 1946 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
