Stanley L. Koidahl

Stanley L. Koidahl of Virginia, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on January 22, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minn. 

He was a Technician 4th Grade and radio operator with the Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 86th Infantry Regiment in Rome-Arno, Northern Apennines, and Po Valley, Italy.

Mr.  Koidahl  received the: Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and one overseas service bar.

He was discharged on December 5, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
