He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal with one bronze star, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with seven bronze battle stars, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and Philippine Liberation Medal with one bronze star.
He honorably was discharged on July 3, 1946, in Boston, Massachussets.
