Mr. Cerys served overseas during World War II in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946.

He was born on November 29, 1924, in Superior, Wisconsin, to Peter and Agnes (Mizinski) Cerys. In 1943 he graduated from Duluth Central High School before being drafted into the U.S. Army.

Mr. Cerys died at age 83 on July 30, 2008, in Superior, Wisconsin.
