Stanley Grabowski served in World War II in the Polish military and also in the U.S. military. He was awarded the highest Polish military award as a bomber pilot. Four times he was imprisoned during the German occupation of Poland, and later in Siberia for two-and-a- half years.
Mr. Grabowski was born on March 20, 1919, in Boston, Massachusetts.
Mr. Grabowski died 88, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2008.
