Samuel H. Leppanen

Samuel H. Leppanen of Embarrass, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on April 21, 1941.

He was a Private and a carpenter in the European Theater in the Tunisian Campaign and Algerian Operation.

Mr. Leppanen received the: Combat Infantryman Badge, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, American Defense Service Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on November 11, 1944 at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
