Russell L. Pearson

Russell L. Pearson of Tower, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on July 27, 1943.

He was a Private First Class and a light mortar crewman with Company F, 182nd Infantry Regiment, Americal Division, serving in New Guinea and the southern Philippines.

Mr. Pearson received the: Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal with two bronze battle stars, Philippine Liberation Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was discharged on Dec. 4, 1945.
