Rudolph Lawrence Starich

Rudolph L. Starich was inducted into the Army on February 27, 1941, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Greaney, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Fourth Grade and auto mechanic with the 340th Ordnance Depot Company in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

He was awarded with the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and four overseas service bars.

Mr. Starich was honorably discharged on October 12, 1945, at Camp Grant, Illinois.
