RABUZE, Rudoph Jacob
Rudolph Jacob Rabuze was born on March 27th 1917 to Peter & Mary May [Spreitzer] Rabuze in Buhl, Minnesota.
Mr. Rabuze enlisted for military service on June 29th 1942 at Fort Snelling in Minneapolis, Minnesota during WWII. He was inducted into the U.S. Army on July 12th 1942.
He served as a armorer with the 795th Ordinance Light Maintenance Company in Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe. He rose to the rank of Technician 4th Grade (TEC4).
TEC Rabuze earned the following merits for his service:
- Bronze Star Medal,
- Good Conduct Medal,
- American Campaign Medal,
- European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 3 bronze battle stars,
- World War II Victory Medal, -and-
- one overseas service bar.
He was honorably discharged on November 20th 1945, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.
Mr. Rabuze died on June 9th 1991 at 74 years of age in Park Rapids, Minnesota. He is buried at Lakeview Cemetery in Buhl.
