Roy S. Hill

Roy S. Hill was inducted into the Army Air Corps February 27, 1942, Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Gheen, Minnesota.

He served as a Corporal with the Base Service Squadron of the 521st Air Service Group in Naples-Figgia, Rome-Arno, Northern Apennines, and Po Valley, Italy; and Southern France.

Mr. Hill was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with one silver battle star (for five bronze stars), World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars

He was honorably discharged September 11, 1945, Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
