Roy O. Hendrickson

Roy O. Hendrickson enlisted in the Army on March 21, 1941 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Corporal and ammunition NCO with Battery C of the 763rd Field Artillery Battalion in Normandy, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe. He was wounded in action in Germany on December 17, 1944.

Mr. Hendrickson was awarded the Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with four bronze battle stars, American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged October 8, 1945.
