Roy A. Leiviska

Roy A. Leiviska of Aurora was inducted into the Army on May 28, 1943.

He was a Private First Class and a rifleman with Company I in the 109th Infantry Regiment in the Rhineland Campaign. He was wounded in action on November 9, 1944 in Germany.

Mr. Leiviska received the: Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on October 12, 1945 at Percy Jones Army General Hospital Center, Fort Custer, Mich..
